At Blackwell Primary School, we teach PE in accordance with the National Curriculum, our objectives have been carefully mapped out to ensure progression is achieved from Reception through to Year 6. We take a holistic approach to physical education teaching ensuring our objectives focus on both the knowledge and skills to ensure pupils social, moral, spiritual, and cultural development is enhanced through Physical Education.

We have developed an exciting curriculum here at Blackwell engaging children in a wide variety of regular physical activity, incorporating the ‘Providing Opportunities, Achieving Goals, Unlocking Potential’ ethos into learning in order to build character, promote physical confidence and to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
