What is I-Vengers?

The i-vengers project is a year-long peer-led digital leader programme which seeks to engage, educate and empower young explorers of digital technology and help them make safer choices online. Kindly funded by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire and Derbyshire County Council, together we can make the online environment a safer place. Together, we are i-vengers.

The Band Runner Animations and Game have been designed specially for 8-10 year olds. Learn all about keeping yourself safe online!

The NSPCC have launched a brand new area of the Childline website aimed at children under 12. Childline has child-friendly advice on topics from family and relationships to school worries, self-esteem and bullying.

At Blackwell, we have children who are in charge of being Risk Assessors. The children change regularly so that all of the school are clear about how to keep everyone safe.

The duties include ensuring that external doors are shut, cloakrooms are kept tidy, there is easy access throughout the school without any hazards and that any issues/faults are reported to the caretaker.

Thank you to you all for keeping us safe!
