Welcome to Blackwell Primary School
On behalf of the pupils, governors, and staff it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school website.
We are a busy school with lovely children and dedicated staff. We actively encourage children to have a positive attitude and strive to create a love of learning by providing a wide range of opportunities within school.
We praise and encourage perseverance, resilience and risk taking and ensure that children have the confidence to make mistakes. We work hard to prepare our children to be happy, successful and responsible members of society in the future.
As Headteacher, I am privileged to lead a fantastic team of dedicated, caring and skilled staff, who strive for the best outcomes for our pupils. Teamwork is essential to deliver our vision of unlocking potential, providing opportunities, achieving goals.
The website will provide you with information about school policies and procedures as well as an opportunity to see some of the exciting activities we take part in on a day to day basis, in line with the Blackwell Primary School Charter.

Safeguarding
Safeguarding and the welfare of our children is a priority and we work with parents, carers and support agencies in an open and honest relationship to ensure children who attend Blackwell are well cared for and protected.
